Light Therapy

• Red light (620-730 nm) penetrates 8-10 mm and stimulates collagen production (necessary for maintaining healthy, soft skin), while damaged tissue is repaired and fine lines and wrinkles are reduced. Enlarged pores appear smaller and less visible.

• Green light (525-550 nm) is best for aging skin, photo-damage and hyperpigmentation and works to revive the look of tired/aging skin. Sun damage, wrinkles and dark spots fade while skin tone regains balance and appears more even. These wavelengths can also be used to speed the healing of scars or other skin imperfections.

• Blue light (430-450) penetrates 0.5 mm, acts as an anti-inflammatory and calms hypersensitive, blemish prone skin. Redness is minimized while acne causing bacteria are diminished. Existing blemishes shrink, and skin stays breakout free for longer. Benefits teenage skin, as well as adult-onset acne.

Electronic Muscle Stimulation (EMS)

Low-level Micro-Currents are used to stimulate sagging skin, gently accelerating healthy cell activity of skin, (which slows with age, lack of sleep, toxin exposure and stress). Micro-current helps increase ATP levels up to 500% which results in better circulation, oxygen efficiency, reduction in inflammation and protein synthesis. Non-cosmetic uses include headaches/migraines and musculoskeletal therapy.

What does a session entail?

Dr. Carolyn will assess your skin and determine the best Light and EMS selection(s) for you, in efficient but effective, 30-minute sessions.

Included in every session is an add-on eye treatment, using an innovative device combining Red Light, Thermal Therapy and Hypersonic infusion, for a younger under-eye look. Results include increased cell renewal and collagen production, stimulation of circulation to the eye area, improved elasticity, reduction in puffiness and wrinkle reduction.

Immediate results visible, lasting results depend on cumulative treatments.

Recommendations:
