What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a method of supporting the body/mind systems via natural self healing processes. Originating in East Asia over 2,000 years ago and perhaps much earlier than that, in its modern practice, acupuncture forms a part of a rational, personalized, evidence-based system of effective healthcare.
Acupuncture works by the insertion of fine needles into specific acupuncture points, to stimulate the body to heal itself. Traditional explanations of acupuncture involve its effect on improving the flow of qi (‘vital energy’) and on balancing Yin and Yang, a paradigm of health and disease that maps very closely to the Western concept of homeostasis.
Return Patient Treatment
Your return Acupuncture treatment may include Acupuncture, Tui Na (Chinese medical message), e-stim, cupping and/or other modalities your Acupuncture Physician feels are necessary for your case. "Extra Time" or Return Integrative Consults may be added on, for new complaints, lab reviews or other concerns/questions not already reviewed. Please request at time of booking. Nutrient or homeopathic pain injections may be added to acupuncture visits (additional cost based on injection type).
This visit is for established patients only.

Fire Cupping
Traditional Chinese fire cupping enhances circulation to muscles and removes blockages that are causing pain, reduced lymphatic flow and tension. Balancing needles may be added to the treatment if indicated, at no extra charge.
Fire cupping is used for pain relief, skin complaints, sleep issues, allergies, stress, anxiety and weight management.
Established patients only.
